Free

   Hello everyone

As this post is free i am pleased to talk about a member of my family who is not human if not a dog and a dog very special for me. I found this dog two years ago when i was doing a mural in a very dirty place, I hear a particular sound, then achieved move a piece of wood, i found a puppy very playful. I said: I will call it Motta. So i decide to take care of it, because it made me feel terrible  to see such a helpless creature, alone in a place like this. Unfortunately after a year of having this canine noble friend, occurred a car accident, where Motta by to chase the wheel of a bicycle, a car collided with him, sending him far away. I scared that he lost his life, but thank God, Motta survived to this terrible accident. However he lost one of his legs, due to a problem that was presented in the nervous system. Then the veterinarians had to amputate one of his front paws. At first cost me believe that Motta would adapt, but he showed me that his wishes to live was greater than his disability. Then somehow I thank to Motta for proving to that one never should give up in life, whatever happens.
Good for to finish this post, i will leave an image where it appears posing for a mural that i made with his image to try to show people the message that my dog taught me.

Best Chilean

Well today I have to talk about some Chilean, that i believe that is important to me or for the country. I find it really hard to pick just one character of Chilean history as there are too many people who gave us a good example with some of their actions. To be honest if there is someone i admire is to each of the members of my family, but the task of the teacher is to talk about a public figure so i decided to talk about a man,  he was singer, who was killed days after the military coup of 1973. I talk about Victor Jara, he was a multifaceted man who performed various trades, such as  theater director, a researcher of folklore and indigenous instruments, actor, playwright and librettist, but reached the highest significance as a composer and singer. however this time i will focus on a specific event, where Victor Jara helped poor people.
Between the late 60s and early 70s, in the western sector of Santiago. Many poor economically people, did not have a home to live. It was a period of intense social demands, some families resort to actions outside the legal basesas, are the land invasions, to achieve a place in which live, these land invasions experiencing explosive growth, reaching more than 300 land grabs. One of the most important land invasions were those that gave rise to the population, Herminda of Victoria (named for the murder of a child due to a stray bullet from the police) in March 1967, in this site I currently live (at that time was called "Barrancas" now called Cerro Navia). Well I talk about this topic because this man, Victor Jara, although it had a good reputation as an artist at the time, humbly helped in building many of the houses in that sector. Really i consider admirable his actions, because it is difficult in these days, seeing people (artists) that appear in the mass media, selflessly, help the most needy so directly.
Although the years pass, I feel that the memory of Victor Jara never be erased from that place, because he let a song for this population, which makes me very nostalgic, because when i hear this song I remember the stories of my grandfather when he get to live to these places, but hey here I leave the link of a video so they can see and understand the context of what I am talking about in this post.

faculty of arts

Hello everyone
In this post I will talk about my current situation in the Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile and some aspect that bothers me about this institution. well my current situation, in the faculty of arts, is that I am in the fourth year of undergraduate, I guess there is no problem for me about that, but what bothers me is the poor infrastructure of central workshops. I believe that administrators give little importance to some workshops as for example the student restrooms or the painting workshops. if it is true, a few months ago have improved one, but two other workshops are equal from when i saw them for the first time in 2009. I feel that this situation is unjust because the monthly fees are very high (over $200.000) so the economic resource is not a problem to improve the infrastructure of the workshops. I also think that for people who enter to this faculty through the basic cycle, need only be a year at this stage, because two years for me it is a scam and economic theft for part of those who call themselves university authorities. I think a good way to solve these and other problems or difficulties is to create surveys by part of the intitucionales authorities for recognize the real needs and interests of students and thus point to a real solution and not temporary as have been so long ago. I think that's my humble opinion regarding the Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile.

Going places

Today i will write about some place i'd like to visit, really travelling for my is a nice experience, but in this moment i have another priorities more important for example the family, the work and some pictorial projects that I want to finish before going out of the country. Though my travel preferences are nearest places to the line of the equator, an imaginary line drawn around the earth equally distant from both poles, dividing the earth into northern and southern hemispheres and constituting the parallel of latitude 0°. Although most of this line passes through oceans, also crosses thirteen countries, which confers to own climatic characteristics of an area located near a latitude of zero degrees, for example, continuous rains, lack of seasons and constant temperatures throughout the year. For my any of the three countries (Ecuador, Colombia and Brazil)  that cruising in america is fine, because i'm a sun lover and really is uncomfortable for me, the icy days of the winters, not the rain, but yes  the cold of the mornings, because makes me want to be like a sloth bear and hibernate all morning under the covers of my bed.
